Hello fellow 15ner's. This looks like an absolute fun challenge so I signed up for it since I will be on both coasts via 4Corners, Sturgis, and then the 3Flags. Connecting with ya'll would be a pleasure...never know if our routes would intersect for a cup of coffee. AND, since I am a relative newby, I would welcome advice from you sinners who have been around the block a few times. My next post will be about my first "15" coming up soon. Good morning to you 15 Best Riders. I was impressed by the list the SCMA Officers compiled for this years challenge. I have ridden several of these roads over the last few years, and look forward to riding the ones I haven't been on before. Especially interesting to me is the group of roads known as the "Twisted Sisters" in the Texas Hill Country. Last year on my Four Corners Tour, I spent a night in Junction, Texas...a stones throw from the "Sisters", but I was not aware of 'em! Now I know, and I will meet the Ladies on my way to El Paso for the Three Flags Classic! I plan to ride two more of the "15" on the way to Nelson. I'll attempt to travel a few more of the 15 on my way to the 2012 California State HOG Rally, then complete the list on my way home to Ohio. I plan to get the eastern four on two separate rides before heading to El Paso. One is a trip to Vermont for the sole purpose of riding Vt 100... end to end this time. The other is a three day ride down to the Smoky Mountains for Va 16, the Blue Ridge Parkway, and, of course the Tail of the Dragon and Cherahola Skyway. That's my plan of attack on the 15 Best!! I am looking forward to meeting my fellow 15 riders, and I expect that will happen in El Paso as I know most (maybe all) of you are also riding the Three Flags Classic too! See ya there...Ride Safe Bob

See ya there...Ride Safe Bob Bob, If u go east again from the Twisted Sisters, it is a days ride to the Hampton Inn in Vicksburg, Mississippi. <-- THAT is my all time FAVORTIE Hampton Inn. It is unbelieveable GORGEOUS! HUGE with the most breathtaking marble and like Rosewood all over the palce. IF u can make it there, ask for the 5th floor (I think that is the top floor). 2 flat screen tv's LARGE rooms, that Rosewood or similar type wood everywhere.....big bathrm, just unbelievable. And not any more expensive than any of the other Hampton Inns. If u bed down there, pls let me know what u think. I trrack my favorite "eats" and places to say in the USA and THAT one will be close to you. :-) BuzzCap7
