Well, I finally made it to Blaine...and yes, I got rained upon. But about 20 miles north of Seattle the sun started shining and about midway thru my visit in Blaine I had to remove the raingear to cool down.
I tanked up at the Chevron and they gave me two receipts, one for SCMA and one for me. Then I rode over to the Marine Park and had a photo taken of me and Sophia there, then a photo at the Peace Arch, and the final photo at the Post Office. I just want to make sure one of these photo's qualifies me as being there.
At the post office I realized I forgot to ask the Chevron lady for their phone number. So I asked the Postal Clerk and he gave me their local phone number....wrote that onto the verification form and mailed it to Trabuco Canyon...about 3 miles behing my house in El Toro.

This is GREAT my friend!! I really feel like I am with you on your ride! 1) Why did u send the receipt to Trabuco Canyon? 2) On the 4 maps in the lower right corner where u need to put in your odometer reading, phone number, sign int, etc... I made a note to get PICTURE, CITY NAME/LANDMARK & LIC#. Maybe putting that in will help. Oh, all on a clipboard in my trunk so it is hard for me to miss when I get my camera. I make it "stupid simple" so it is hard to mess up or like u accidnelty did, miss a phone number. 3) Do not be surprised if u get a call from me when I am near Madawaska (Houlton Maine) going to and from Cape Breton. Do NOT skip a beat but maybe I can ride with you a bit if u do not mind. Thanks to GlideRider suggesting to meet up with him in Ohio when I was headed to Barrie Ontario, it was fun and I can see habit forming. Again, stick to your schedule. Taht is most important as u know. GO MAN GO, I am excited for you!! BuzzCap7

The envelopes provided by the SCMA has a mailing address on them for Trabuco Canyon. Maybe that is where the Chairman lives?
I sent you an email re: Madawaska. I should be there around the 17th at the worst case.
I will be making stops in Las Cruces for oil change and three Twisted) sisters in TX. And expect at least 2 bad days somewhere along the trip.
I do hope to get my "Sea Legs" and be able to ride for long distances.
If you email my gmail I will receive it on my smartphone whenever I stop for gas....so lets stay in touch and hope the Madawaska ride works out C ya Gonz

Sry we were not able to meet up. Would have been GOOD! As u know, I was headed south further inland. Did not know quite how to catch u north bound at the right place. Meet up with GlideRider as u know but we had a time and place. That was fun. He took me some back roads in Ohio on my way to Barre Ontario. If the PO is open when you get there in Madawaska....... I heard that INSIDE the PO is a book where you can log yourself in on their recordbook. It has nothing to do with the 4 Corner Tour requirements, just something nice the PO is doing for us guys. I am going to drop ur gmail a note now. Go man GO!!! Madawaska here we come............wooo hooooo!!! BuzzCap7

Gonzo, Word's out that you made Madawaska! Congratulations on completing the Four Corners Tour! I suspect you rode Vt100 within the last day or so, and are headed for three more of the Fifteen down in the Smoky's! Great that there have been no further reports of Sophia falling! Nice work!
